Join us for the next instalment of our popular Speedway Social series as we welcome one of the most iconic figures in British Speedway — Peter Adams.
A long-serving Wolverhampton Team Manager, Peter is the most decorated manager in British Speedway history, with a remarkable career spanning decades. His association with Wolverhampton dates back to 1984, having also previously managed the Cradley Heathens and Coventry Bees.
Across his career, Peter has worked with and managed five World Champions, making this a unique opportunity to hear first-hand stories from one of the sport’s most respected figures.
Expect an evening of insight, nostalgia and great stories, hosted in the relaxed setting of the 1877 Sports Bar — with interview, audience Q&A and the chance to meet Peter after the event.
Join us for the second instalment of the Speedway Social, with Chris Van Straaten (CVS) joining us to talk about his life in Speedway.
Hear about CVS’s involvement in Wolverhampton Speedway, and with the sport elsewhere.
First becoming involved in 1981 and becoming the promoter of Wolves Speedway in 1986, Van Straaten has given over 40 years of service to the sport.
More unique insights and special stories will be covered on a night not to be missed!
Also includes access to the fantastic Wolves Museum, and the 1877 Sports Bar.
